Privacy policy
Family Hub is a private household assistant operated by David Thurmond for approved household members. This policy explains how the assistant and this information website handle information.
Information used by the assistant
Family Hub processes messages and other information household members choose to provide, shared shopping and pantry records, and calendar information needed to answer their requests. Account and messaging identifiers are used to recognize authorized household members.
Google access and current functionality
The connected Google account grants basic account identification, read access to Gmail, and permission to read, create, change and delete events on calendars it owns. The assistant currently exposes only reading from one selected family calendar. Calendar-change tools and Gmail-message monitoring are not currently enabled.
The calendar reader retrieves event identifiers, titles, dates and times, time zones, status and location. It does not currently request event descriptions, attendees or attachments. A setup check has read Gmail label metadata; routine inbox monitoring is not active.
Google information is used for authorized household organization, such as answering calendar questions. Any enabled future inbox or calendar-change features will be described here before use. Email-derived calendar suggestions are intended to require a household member's approval initially.
Cloud services and disclosure
Relevant conversation content, household records and retrieved calendar information may be sent to OpenAI cloud models to generate replies. Messages and replies pass through Telegram. These providers handle information under their applicable policies and the operator's account settings; using Family Hub does not mean that all processing occurs locally.
The operator does not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or use it to develop or train generalized AI models. Use and transfer of information received from Google APIs is limited to providing the household features described here and is subject to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

Storage and access
Household records, revision history, operation receipts, conversations and service state are stored on the privately managed device. Retrieved calendar information can remain in conversation history. Google authorization tokens are stored in a protected, encrypted local keyring. This is not a claim that all stored records, conversations or backups are encrypted.
Access to the assistants is restricted to approved messaging accounts. Shopping, pantry and the selected family calendar are shared household information. The device administrator can access underlying stored records and service data.
Retention, correction and deletion
There is no general automatic deletion period. Records and conversations remain until the operator removes them. Removing a shopping or pantry item from an active list can retain audit and revision history.
Contact the operator to request access to, correction of, or deletion of locally held information, including retained history. Copies held by service providers are subject to their own controls and policies.
You can revoke Google's authorization through your Google Account connections. Revocation stops future Google access; it does not automatically delete information previously retained in conversations or records.
This information website
These pages contain no assistant login, household records, advertising scripts, analytics scripts or forms. The site host may process ordinary technical request information, such as IP addresses and browser details, to deliver and protect the website. This website has no connection to the private household device or its Google authorization tokens.
Changes and contact
This policy will be updated when the integration or its data practices change. The date above identifies the current version.
